It was announced on Shueisha’s official Shonen Jump Plus Twitter account that Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man manga will begin its second season on July 13. Please continue streaming on Manga Plus and it will be available in English, Spanish, Thai, French and Portuguese.
The manga’s official Twitter account also revealed that Fujimoto will release a short film with artist Oto Touda (To Strip the Flesh) titled “Futsuu ni Kiitekure” (Listen to Me Normal) in Shonen Jump. Also on the 4th of July. Fujimoto is credited with the original artwork. Finally, note that the 200-page Fujimoto Sayonara Eri (Goodbye, Eri) manga will also have a physical release on July 4 in Japan.
On the other hand, Fujimoto began serializing the Chainsaw Man manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in December 2018, and completed the first part in December 2020. The eleventh volume ended its first season, and the series is still continuing. The manga will receive an anime adaptation, produced by the MAPPA studio and scheduled to premiere in 2022 in Japan.
