CoD Modern Warfare 2: filtered its special editions and public beta

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is already present for the saga. Infinity Ward will release the 2019 reboot sequel on October 28. Following the Season 3 Reloaded update on Vanguard, data mining has revealed some details about Captain Price’s return: it will have three editions and hold a public beta.

CoD Modern Warfare 2 Special Editions First Data

The Standard Edition will be accompanied by the Cross-Gen Edition and the Vault Edition. The second hints that cross-gen versions of consoles will be chargeable, i.e. as has been the case since Black Ops Cold War. The Vault edition will incorporate a series of digital bonuses that we detail below:

  • Full game
  • Battle Pass and 50 Tier Skips
  • Red Team Operator Pack 141: Ghost, Soap, Price, and Farah
  • FJX Cinder Weapon Chest
  • 10 hours of dual leveling and weapon experience
  • Ghost Legacy Pack: 12 operator skins and 10 weapon blueprints
  • Early Access Public Beta

We must point out that the data provided indicates that by pre-ordering any of the editions, you will get early access to the public beta. This test to the general public will again be offered initially on PS4 and PS5 as part of the agreement maintained by PlayStation and Activision in recent years.

The Standard and Cross-Gen editions are expected to incorporate “other features” which will be announced once the game is released. As we can see in its latest teaser, the publisher hints that June 8 is the day chosen to show the first trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Task Force 141 will have the collaboration of Alejandro Vargas, Colonel of the Special Forces of Mexico, who confirms that the saga will fight in South America. Get the first details here.
