Dead Cells: “Breaking Barriers” update is live, adds assist mode and accessibility options

Motion Twin Y Evil Empire have announced that the update “Breaking Barriers” for Dead Cells is it availabe.

Unlike previous updates that added new biomes, weapons, and mutations, this one focuses on accessibility options and the new assist mode.

Of course, there are some balance changes, like reworks for eight weapons and reduced costs for early game weapons.

Along with input options to hold down the button to jump a second time or toggle for the shield instead of pressing it, players can adjust font styles.

Font size can be adjusted for item descriptions, dialog, and item names. The size and transparency of the interface can also be customized.

You can also adjust the number of particles and the size of the exclamation mark that triggers before enemy attacks.

Assist mode offers numerous options to make the game easier, like multiple lives (from one to infinite) and Auto-hit (where your primary weapon automatically attacks when in range of an enemy).

Trap damage, enemy damage, and enemy health are also adjustable. Do you want to reveal the entire map? They have on it.
