Get ready for a wild weekend of competitive Fortnite courtesy of FaZe Clan!

With just weeks to go until the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 FNCS kicks off, things are starting to heat up. Fortunately, we have the perfect event to whet your appetite.

FaZe Clan has announced the return of their annual Elite Cup in partnership with Practice Server. They’ve teamed up with the Hulu original series “Solar Opposites” to offer a total prize of $50,000.

There will be both a Solos and Duos Tournament, each with a share of the money. The top pros in the NA region will be invited directly to the finals, but there’s also a qualifier for future stars to earn their spot.

Qualifiers – July 1 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET

Solo Finals – July 2 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET

Duo Finals – July 3 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET

Solo – $10,000

Duo – $40,000

Currently, we don’t have any more details regarding the qualifications. There doesn’t seem to be an option to sign up, so they might only be open to certain groups of players. We’ll keep this article updated with the latest information.

What we do know is that you’ll be able to follow all the action live on the FaZe Clan and Twitch Practice Server channels. Expect high-quality production with commentary from popular Fortnite casters.

Plus, viewers will have a chance to win awesome FaZe merchandise! Giveaways will run throughout the broadcast, with entries available via Twitch chat and Discord.

Last year’s Elite Cup saw Slackes, Jahq and Acorn take first place, during a period when they were nearly unstoppable as a trio. The 2022 edition is sure to produce more exciting times and serve as an interesting preview of the upcoming FNCS.
