5G Network Ratings
Opensignal’s 5G network evaluation project is divided into five items: video experience, game experience, voice application experience, download speed and upload speed. Among them, in terms of 5G video experience, game experience and voice application experience, four have 5G network experience. There is little difference between the operators.
Chunghwa Telecom took the top spot in the 5G download speed, with an average download speed of 383.3Mbps, Far EasTone with an average of 296.7Mbps, and Taiwan Big Brother with an average of 246.7Mbps, all of which performed well.
The 5G upload speed varies greatly. Chunghwa Telecom has an average upload speed of 47Mbps, and Far EasTone has 43.9Mbps, both of which are in the first class. In terms of overall network availability, Chunghwa Telecom, Far EasTone, and Big Brother Taiwan have almost no gaps, all reaching a level of over 98.9%.
