Mortal Kombat fans have been waiting for an announcement about a new game in the franchise, in this case it would be Mortal Kombat 12 or at least if NetherRealm Studios decides to remaster Shaolin Monks as previously rumored.
Edd Boon himself, one of the game’s creators, has been dodging questions from fans in recent months. However, in a recent video on Twitter, Johnny Cage actor Andrew Bowen shared a video of himself standing in Warner Bros. Studios. Bowen didn’t say anything in the caption of this tweet, the short clip seemed to imply that he might be working again for Mortal Kombat 12.

Assuming Bowen is working on Mortal Kombat 12, this would be his third consecutive appearance in the franchise. Bowen previously played Johnny Cage in both Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat 11.
If we analyze, the game that should be played by NetherRealm Studios is Injustice 3, but this topic has also been forgotten, the studio has not commented on a new game for both Mortal Kombat and Injustice. Meanwhile, fans have been on the alert for any leaks in the game, as Mortal Kombat 11 stopped adding content to the game for the time being.
