The Boys sweeps the broadcast of its fourth season and whose sixth chapter (this next Friday) promises to be one of the craziest in the history of television series. So much so that Herogasm will adapt the unlikely and hilarious orgies from The Boys comics, bringing to the screen an orgy unlike any in television history. Now actor Jensen Ackles, who plays Soldier Boy, has explained a startling anecdote that happened while filming such a hot and passionate episode.
The Boys and the greatest television orgy in history
In the comics, it’s a massive orgy sponsored by Vought where the Supers can unleash their passions and perversions to fulfill their most unexpected sexual fantasies. And the series promises to represent this scene in live action while maintaining the tone of the series: to the beast. So much so that Ackles himself recently told the SensaCine portal that even during filming, things were spiraling out of control:
“The wardrobe team, due to the nature of what was going on there, had large bottles of lube all over the set. But since there was COVID, there were also bottles of hand gel strewn across the set. And you knew someone was wrong, something that happened every 10 minutes, when someone yelled. Thinking it was hand gel, they filled their hands with lubricant,” the actor explains.
For her part, Erin Moriarty, who plays Starlight in the series, recently explained to SlahFilm that Herogasm is one of the craziest episodes of the whole series, which is saying something: “It was five days in a row, more than twelve hours a day, surrounded by nudity. And it was very wild. I have never been in a room with so many dildos, sex toys, so much nudity and so much simultaneous sex happening in so many ways. I think my favorite part was seeing the director of this episode, Nelson Cragg, who is wonderful, directing the people in the background pretending to have sex. And suddenly he became a porn director, ”concludes the actress.
The Herogasm episode can be seen in the next episode of The Boys airing this Friday, June 24, 2022 on Prime Video.
