World of Warcraft: Dragonflight will be released before the end of the year!

While Blizzard announced the availability of Overwatch 2 in October, it seems that this will not be the only new opus of the publisher by the end of the year. If we knew that World of Warcraft Classic: Wrath of the Lich King was to arrive this year, it should be well supported on the MMORPG side.

A release in 2022 for Dragonflight!

While the future expansion was revealed in April, we had little information about its release. While season four of shadowlands will be of a shorter duration than the previous ones, the expansion’s official site has been updated with a clear indication: World of Warcraft: Dragonflight will be available no later than December 31, 2022! This was confirmed by Holly Longdale, Executive Producer on the project in a press release:

We are happy to announce that we will be bringing our expansion to players later this year. Dragonflight is a return to Azeroth, the freedom and exploration for which is known World of Warcraft. This is our chance to get personally close to the very rich history of the Dragon Islands, and to immerse ourselves in the fantasy universe that is at the heart of that of Warcraft.

As a reminder, players will be able to climb up to level 70, discover the Dragon Islands with a brand new story, play a new class of heroes with theEvoker Dracthyr and discover an overhaul of the talent system. You can find the details in this article:
